As the best-selling full-sized SUV in the U.S., the Chevrolet Tahoe came into model year 2026 with expanded technology and appearance options. Buyers can now order the RST with the Dark Essentials Package, which adds 24-inch black wheels, black mirror caps, and black exterior badging for a more aggressive look. A new Polar White Tricoat paint color also joins the lineup. Chevy has updated the technology behind its Super Cruise with Hands-on Lane Centering Assist feature, and every Tahoe trim now includes a key card that lets the vehicle be locked, unlocked, and started without the traditional key fob.

The LT is upgraded with leather upholstery, heated front seats, and an eight-way power front passenger seat. The driver also gets a memory system. A power liftgate and wireless device charging are included in the standard package as well.
The Z71 affords greater off-road capability with standard four-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case, front and rear skid plates, hill descent control, all-terrain tires, and a unique high-approach front fascia. This trim also adds LED fog lights and 20-inch wheels while retaining most of the LT’s amenities.
You’ll notice a sportier appearance on the RST, thanks to LED fog lights and an array of black-finished exterior accents, including 22-inch wheels. Its other enhancements are an upgraded suspension, perforated leather upholstery, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The Premier upgrades the Tahoe with magnetic ride control suspension, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, second-row captain’s chairs (for a seven-passenger capacity), and power-folding second- and third-row seats. This well-appointed trim also adds animated LED headlamps, a power-sliding center console, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, power-folding heated side mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming capability, 20-inch wheels, and a Bose audio system with ten speakers. Super Cruise hands-free highway driving is available.
The High Country expands on the Premier’s already generous appointments with a standard 6.2-liter V8, trim-specific exterior styling, a head-up display, wood interior accents, a digital rearview mirror with a camera washer, and 22-inch wheels. As with the Premier, Super Cruise hands-free highway driving technology is optional.
