The trim range spans from the work-focused WT to the off-road-oriented ZR2, covering everything from basic job-site duty to adventurous trail driving. (Base Trim)

The task-focused WT trim features fabric upholstery, a remote-locking tailgate, a sliding rear window, single-zone climate control, an 11-inch driver information display, remote keyless entry, push-button start, and a 60/40-split folding rear seat. This most affordable Colorado also has heated power side mirrors, cruise control, rear privacy glass, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, rear-seat air vents, two USB ports, and 17-inch steel wheels.

The Chevy Safety Assist suite of advanced driver-assist technologies comes standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian and bicyclist braking, lane-keeping assist with lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, rear seat reminder, and a following distance indicator. A rearview monitor is also among the Colorado’s safety features. The infotainment system is built around an 11.3-inch touchscreen embedded with Google built-in apps (including Google Maps and Google Assistant) and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The WT gets the base sound system with six speakers, plus Wi-Fi hotspot capability and access to OnStar services.

2026 Chevy Colorado LT Trim

Colorado LT

The LT adds more comfort and convenience features to the WT’s comparably basic list. Those upgrades include heated front seats, an eight-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar controls, an additional automatic climate-control zone, the EZ-Lift and Lower tailgate with integrated storage, proximity keyless entry, and remote start. A tilt-and-telescoping steering column comes standard as well, as do carpeted mats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and 17-inch aluminum wheels.

Colorado Trail Boss

The Trail Boss starts with many of the LT’s features, but some equipment (like power driver’s seat, remote start, and heated front seats) is optional rather than standard. The main difference of this trim is that it has the hardware to support more rugged adventures: an automatic locking rear differential, a heavy-duty alternator, a 2-inch factory lift, a wider chassis, a two-speed transfer case, a drive-mode selector, wheel flares, and 32-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch gloss-black aluminum wheels. The Trail Boss also has a StowFlex tailgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, expanded trailering resources, a six-way manual driver’s seat, remote keyless entry, trim-specific exterior details, and a manual-tilt steering column. This trim also comes with hill descent control and blind-spot monitoring with trailering support.

2026 Chevy Colorado Z71 Trim

Colorado Z71

The Z71 dials up the Trail Boss’s features with heated front seats, a blend of cloth and Evotex leatherette upholstery, an eight-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar controls, LED exterior lighting, and a look that differentiates it from the other trims. Its other standard amenities include a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, two additional USB ports (second row), 120-volt AC outlets, and wireless device charging. The available technology upgrades include underbody cameras and a Bose sound system with seven speakers.

Colorado ZR2

The ZR2 adds even more capabilities with a 3-inch factory lift, Multimatic DSSV dampers, electronic front and rear locking differentials, a spray-on bedliner, and 17-inch aluminum wheels with 33-inch mud-terrain tires. Exclusive front and rear fascias give the ZR2 a unique look and greater off-road readiness. This top-of-the-line Colorado also boasts premium features like perforated leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and driver’s-side memory. The optional ZR2 Bison Edition will upgrade the truck significantly with heavy-duty steel front and rear bumpers with recovery points, extensive underbody skid plating and reinforced protection, 35-inch mud-terrain tires on beadlock-capable 17-inch wheels (including a matching spare with a bed-mounted carrier), wider flares, and Multimatic jounce control dampers for added off-road durability and control.
