Regarded as one of the best local spots for breakfast, lunch, and brunch, loyal customers can’t get enough. They have an inviting and relaxed atmosphere while serving up the highest quality of food using the freshest ingredients available. This must-visit establishment runs on the belief that food is nourishing to the body and spirit. A good meal can help build bolds and strengthen relationships. They make each plate with love and that care is clear in every bite. 

While there, we suggest you order their chicken and waffles. It is a huge portion of perfectly seasoned and crispy chicken with a light and chewy waffle cooked with a perfect crunch. The flavorful pairing goes well with a warm cup of coffee. Other breakfast favorites, like bacon and pancakes, or French toast, are equally delectable and handled with equal care. 

They are closed on Sundays but open on Mondays from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Saturdays, they open for service from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and it is arguably their busiest day. They have used old photos donated to them by Howard C. Williams M.D., to adorn the walls of the restaurant and commemorate the growth of Old Orange. 

The down-home atmosphere and savory dishes made from scratch keep locals returning for more. Owner and operator, Chef David Claybar, provides customers with a diverse menu, so even the pickiest of eaters, or those with special dietary needs, can find something satisfying to eat. 

Those with an enormous appetite can’t go wrong when ordering the Cattleman Burger. It is a hefty serving of a half-pound patty on a toasted sourdough bun. They top the burger with grilled onions, barbecue sauce, cheddar cheese, tomato, pickles, mayo, and lettuce. The burst of flavors and juicy goodness can’t be beat. They serve burgers with kettle chips, but you can substitute onion rings for $2 more or French fries for $1.75 more. 

Pies are another great go-to here. They offer sweet flavors like buttermilk, pecan-coconut chess, and chocolate chip and peanut. Each slice is $2.50, but we suggest you get the whole pie for $15. You won’t regret it! 

They offer both dine-in and takeout options. Hours of operation are Mondays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Old Orange provides catering services for both your small and large events.
